About Us
Our Worship
The Moruya congregation meets at 9.00am every Sunday and holds a traditional style of worship service with a modern outlook that focuses on how to be followers of Jesus in the 21st century.
We are a small congregation where everyone matters, and anyone is welcome. The congregation expresses the traditional Christian message of God’s inclusive love, acceptance and hope for people, in ways that are relevant in the 21st century.
Where we can, we are willing to add activities and make changes to support newcomers.
Our Values
Our values include caring for people and being an hospitable group. We live out Jesus’ way of welcome through morning tea every Sunday and by making our hall available to various community groups. We love to have a chat so know you are welcome to stay for a cuppa. If you are visiting for the first time don’t worry about bringing any food – there is always plenty!
Our History
The Uniting Church was the first granite building in Moruya and commenced services in 1864. The beautiful glass windows and wonderful acoustics add to the appeal of this classic church building.
Please be assured of a warm welcome and a place at the table whenever you visit us at Moruya Uniting Church.
Meet the Team
Moruya congregation is currently supported by our part-time Pastors Julie and Neil Fletcher. They lead three services a month and are away from town for part of the month. They are available for a chat and emergency pastoral needs. You can contact them on 0490906061 or by email fletcheruca@gmail.com
